This spring there are numerous opportunities to taste our wines and to chat with us. The tasting event will start with the Wein & Genuss Krems. On March 31 & April 1, 2023, the latest wines from 60 top winemakers can be tasted in the Dominican Church Krems from 2 to 8 p.m. We will of course be there with our two wineries Vorspannhof Mayr and Weingut Buchegger.
The Palais Auersperg in Vienna opens its doors on April 14 and invites for the third time to the Gault&Millau Wine Festival. A sample of Austria’s elite vintners, well-known names as well as young exceptional vintners present the results of the past harvests. More than 50 winemakers will showcase their best vintages from white to red from 4 to 9 p.m., and we will be there again this time.
The Wellnesshotel Guglwald in the Mühlviertel offers a vinophile package on April 16: A wine tasting commented by us with our two wineries in the context of a gourmet dinner, plus an overnight stay and use of the wellness facilities.
A fine opportunity to taste the new wines in the Danube region is the Weinfrühling of Kamptal, Kremstal and Traisental. On April 29 and 30, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., around 220 winemakers will open the doors of their wine cellars in the three wine-growing regions. We invite you to join us at the winery in Dross, where, in addition to the light wines of the 2023 vintage, you can also taste site wines from recent vintages.
The Österreichische Traditionsweingüter (Austrian traditional wineries), of which our two winery lines are members, are once again inviting guests to their traditional tasting event, the Tour de Vin, on May 6 and 7. This year, we are very proud to be able to offer not only our wines but also a first-class culinary program: Jürgen Vigne from the Restaurant Pfefferschiff in Söllheim will provide a small but fine menu of refreshments during the day in the historic part of the Vorspannhof. At the three evenings of May 5, 6 and 7, he will serve a surprise menu, to which we will open the best of our wine cellar. For the evening menu we ask for advance booking at restaurant@pfefferschiff.at
