Grüner Veltliner

Ried Geppling lies on a thick layer of loess and is laid out on terraces. The vines are a good fifty years old – venerable, gnarled old fellows that still remain extremely healthy and deliver healthy grapes every vintage.
The appeal of the wine lies its playful lightness combined with elegance and ripe acidity. One perceives mature yellow fruits in the nose and feels the wine prancing nimbly on the palate.
A great accompaniment to culinary adventures, possessing medium weight and a balanced interplay of fruit and acidity; a wine that can be drunk early but also has cellaring potential for at least five years.
