Like Grüner Veltliner Leopold, the Grüner Veltliner Pfarrweingarten does not come from an individual vineyard, but nevertheless is comparable in quality to the best single-vineyard wines of the region.
In contrast to Leopold, which is matured in large wooden casks, we let the Pfarrweingarten ferment and then mature in stainless steel tanks. This renders it livelier and spicier than Leopold. Thanks to waiting for the latest possible harvest-date for obtaining very healthy grapes, it is always a ripe & full-bodied Veltliner with a yellow-fruit profile showing an inviting bouquet and, despite its assertive character, very easy to drink.
