The German gourmet portal “Gourmetwelten” tasted and graded rosé wines from Germany and Austria at its Wine Cup in May. The jury of wine experts tasted around 100 rosés at the Bristol Hotel on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. As always, the wines were tasted blind and rated according to the 100-point scheme. Our Rosé Terrassen 2022 did very well: with 91.9 points (the winning wine received 93 points) it was voted into 6th place overall. And in the Austria ranking, it even placed 2nd, 0.1 points behind the winner!

Summerwine

The grapes of our Rosé – Zweigelt, Merlot and Blauburgunder – come from small vineyards in the Gedersdorf wine terraces. For us, the rosé is a classic, fresh and fruity summer wine, which you drink on warm evenings on the terrace or as a food companion. It should be light, but not too light, after all, the wine should also have character and backbone. Around 12.0% alcohol by volume – that’s the right balance. By the way: At € 8, – our rosé also scores with a first-class price-performance ratio – it costs exactly the same as the Best Buy tip of the Gourmetwelten.
